Our Work

Building Dreams.

At Mehmood Trust, we believe one small act of empathy can create a ripple effect. In pursuit of this we align our initiatives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

At the core of our philosophy is the idea that every individual must act for the benefit of the wider community. Philanthropic projects, whether directed toward global causes or local challenges, play a pivotal role in creating a brighter future for everyone. Our tagline, “Serving Humanity,” serves as a guiding beacon, encapsulating the essence of our commitment to building bridges of solidarity on a global scale.

The Livelihood
Program

Launched in 2013, this program provides immediate relief to families dealing with the loss of a primary wage earner to allow support for household expenses alongside education for their children. Our focus was on families that range under the poverty line and possess no value-adding assets. It is an immediate, monthly, cash transfer program that strives to alleviate crippling financial difficulties for women who have fractured support systems and face increasing vulnerability. Within Pakistan’s context, the loss of a primary wage earner in rural communities can be catastrophic, catapulting families to immediate destitution. This program was launched to support women supporting household expenses, their dependants and extended families through their bereavement.

The Education
Program

Mehmood Trust’s Education Program is a merit-based scholarship program that provides for high-achieving students seeking higher education. The program financially covers tuition fees along with granting a monthly stipend for any living expenses and transport costs. Mehmood Trust invests in outstanding individuals that can clearly contribute toward the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

The Health
Program

Mehmood Trust’s Health Program is designed to provide vital support to individuals facing challenges in affording their medical bills. Recognizing health and hygiene as essential needs, the program addresses medical emergencies, offering financial assistance for timely and crucial medical treatments. Mehmood Trust is dedicated to community service, fostering health support through generous donations, ensuring that individuals can access the healthcare they need in Pakistan.
