We Transform Lives.​

Mehmood Trust, an esteemed non-profit organization deeply embedded in the heart of Pakistan, traces its roots back to October 11, 2013.Officially registered with the Joint Sub Registrar in Islamabad on November 25, 2013. An initiative focused on inclusivity, Mehmood Trust is set to serve humanity with a shared vision of building a better world for generations to come.

While our initiatives are concentrated within our homeland, Pakistan, Mehmood Trust’s work has often extended beyond national borders. Our primary principle is to focus on the needs of local communities and then extend our reach to international communities in need. Our values of community engagement and inclusivity greatly influence our practices.

At Mehmood Trust, we believe one small act of empathy can create a ripple effect. In pursuit of this we align our initiatives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Our comprehensive approach spans across community development, livelihood assistance, education, and health support, showcasing our dedication to achieving the 17 SDGs that drive global progress.

Integral to Pakistan’s social and economic welfare, Mehmood Trust is actively updated on current debates within the development industry, ensuring our practices align with international standards and best practices. Mahreen Talha is the Chairperson of Mehmood Trust. With a professional background in education and activism, Mehreen recently completed her graduate studies in Child Rights and Development at King’s College London. She is an AMI certified Montessori guide specializing in education and intervention planning for children aged 0-6.

Under Mehreen’s leadership, Mehmood Trust has launched several impactful initiatives. She played a key role in establishing Aurat Tech, a platform aimed at empowering women through technology. Additionally, she manages the nonprofit’s Livelihood Program and Education Program, which collectively support 800 families.

Mehreen is dedicated to advancing the mission of Mehmood Trust and is passionate about creating sustainable, community-driven solutions to improve lives and foster development.

A dynamic and seasoned corporate leader with a proven track record in operational management, corporate growth, and strategic development. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at ACM Group of Companies and recently honored with the appointment of Ambassador-at-Large by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Skilled in optimizing operational workflows, building strategic alliances, and expanding market reach. ACM Group is a diversified conglomerate with successful enterprises in engineering, manufacturing, trading, and real estate, including PAL, Pakistan’s largest battery manufacturer, alongside Osaka, Volta, and Fujika. Recognized for driving substantial business improvements through keen operational insight and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Muhammad Asim Hassan is a seasoned HR and corporate services professional. He has been the Group GM HR & Corporate Services at Pakistan Accumulators Pvt. Ltd since June 2020. Previously, he was Director General (HR/ADMIN Directorate) at GENCO – 1 under the Ministry of Energy from October 2019 to June 2020. He also served as GM – HR & Corporate Services at Pakistan Accumulators Pvt. Ltd from November 2013 to October 2019 and Group General Manager – HR & Administration at AlKooheji Group in Bahrain from January 2012 to November 2013. His earlier roles include Senior Manager HR & Admin at AlHidd Water & Power Company in Bahrain from January 2008 to December 2011 and Senior Manager Compliance at Kot Addu Power Company Limited (KAPCO) from September 2002 to November 2008.

He holds an MBA in HR from Lahore University of Management Sciences (2008-2009) and another MBA in HR from the University of Karachi (1999-2001), as well as an MA in Economics from the University of Karachi (1997-1999). He is certified in Labor Laws & International Labor Laws (2017) and is a Certified HR Professional (CHRP) from the National University of Science and Technology (2016-2017).
